UNDERGROUND ELECTRICIANS – COAL MINING

Tecside are seeking Underground Electricians to join our client’s team. In this full-time permanent role, you’ll work as part of a skilled crew to support safe and efficient production through the operation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. This position is located in Central West NSW, relocation is encouraged with support provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with your crew to safely operate and maintain machinery and equipment.
• Install and maintain underground electrical distribution and network systems.
• Ensure compliance with Engineering Management Plans through regular inspections and documentation.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on a range of complex electrical systems, including:
• Surface and underground conveyor systems
• Communications and networking systems
• Continuous miners
• Automated longwall systems

What We’re Looking For:

• Trade qualified electricians
• Prior experience in underground coal mining is highly regarded, but not essential.
• Experience in heavy industry, defence, or other complex electrical environments.
• A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
• A strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
