Job Description

As a Service Technician, you will:

• Perform routine maintenance and scheduled repairs as per established schedules.
• Attend breakdowns promptly, utilising problem-solving skills to implement effective solutions.
• Undertake new equipment installations with precision and expertise.
• Execute enhancements and updates to existing machinery to enhance functionality.
• Communicate transparently and promptly with clients and internal teams.
• Manage time effectively to ensure seamless delivery of customer service.
• Embrace travel opportunities, including local and potential interstate assignments.

Desired Skills and Experience

This role requires:

• A-Grade or Restricted Electrical Licence (or ability to obtain Licence).
• Possess a Mechanical Trade qualification.
• Experience in a field based work with a desire to be in field at customer sites and travelling interstate intermittently.
• Previous experience as field service technician in the packaging industry with demonstrated proficiency in supporting high-speed production machinery is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is highly advantageous.
• Customer-focused mindset, demonstrating the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, coupled with self-motivation and a results-oriented work approach.
• A valid current driver’s license and willingness to travel both locally and interstate is essential for the role.
