Tecside is currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for ongoing workshop-based positions in Henderson. About the Role
Based in Henderson, you will be working in a busy and well-equipped workshop supporting the maintenance, refurbishment, and assembly of critical mining and bulk materials handling equipment.
This role is ideal for hands-on fitters who enjoy detailed mechanical work in a structured workshop environment rather than FIFO or site-based roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance, overhaul, and rebuild of shiploaders, crushers, and mining equipment
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and mechanical component replacement
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
- Precision fitting, alignment, and mechanical assembly
- Working independently and collaboratively within a skilled team
- Maintaining strict adherence to safety and workshop procedures

About You
- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter
- Proven experience with fixed plant or heavy industrial equipment
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Confident fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
