Tecside is currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for ongoing workshop-based positions in Henderson. About the Role

Based in Henderson, you will be working in a busy and well-equipped workshop supporting the maintenance, refurbishment, and assembly of critical mining and bulk materials handling equipment.

This role is ideal for hands-on fitters who enjoy detailed mechanical work in a structured workshop environment rather than FIFO or site-based roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance, overhaul, and rebuild of shiploaders, crushers, and mining equipment
• Fault finding, diagnostics, and mechanical component replacement
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
• Precision fitting, alignment, and mechanical assembly
• Working independently and collaboratively within a skilled team
• Maintaining strict adherence to safety and workshop procedures

About You

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter
• Proven experience with fixed plant or heavy industrial equipment
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Confident fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
