The Role

Own the maintenance reliability of a major FMCG distribution facility in Western Sydney. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll lead a site maintenance team, manage contractors, and drive the standards that keep this operation running safely and at peak performance – on a 4-day roster that gives you your weekdays back every week.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, develop and performance-manage the site maintenance team
• Drive preventative maintenance schedules, compliance and shutdown planning
• Manage outsourced contractors and third-party service providers
• Respond to breakdowns quickly, minimising downtime and production impact
• Apply Lean and CI methodologies to resolve root cause reliability issues
• Manage spare parts, consumables and engineering budgets
• Uphold safety-first practices and compliance standards at all times
• Contribute to site engineering strategy and support capital projects

What You Bring

• Trade qualification – mechanical, electrical or related discipline (essential)
• 3-5+ years’ experience as a maintenance supervisor or leading hand in FMCG, warehousing or cold storage
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance, reliability principles and CMMS
• Demonstrated contractor and budget management experience
• Sound understanding of WHS, LOTO, food safety, HACCP and GMP
• A natural leader who communicates clearly and influences at all levels
